Infinity Heroes Quarterly Update - Q2 2025

Greetings, heroes!

As we transition into the second quarter of the year, we’d like to reflect on what has been accomplished in the past quarter and give you a glimpse of what’s coming next. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest updates and future plans for our Minecraft server.

What’s New?

1. Introduction of the Mob Basket
Players can now capture peaceful mobs using a special Mob Basket and place them wherever they like. This feature makes transportation of animals much easier! For details on how to craft and use the Mob Basket, check out the documentation.

2. Expansion of Allowed Modifications
We’ve expanded the list of allowed client modifications, now permitting additional graphics mods. This means you can enhance your visual experience while playing on our server. https://docs.ifheroes.de/player_allowed-mods.html

3. Farmworld Reset
As part of our regular server maintenance, we’ve reset the Farmworld, Nether, End, and Overworld farming dimensions. This provides fresh resources for all players! With the reset comes a new shiny spawn in both the farm world (Overworld) and the nether of the farm world.

4. Loot Sharing System
A new loot-sharing mechanic has been implemented. Now, when two players jointly attack and deal damage to a mob, both will receive a fair share of the loot. Try it out in both the Farmworld and the Overworld!

5. Survival Server Beta Launch
Our Survival Server is now officially in its Beta phase! Everyone is welcome to join and explore the world we’ve built.

Players which have been a part of our early access users will get an reward for their testing and debugging our server in the near future.

6. TeamSpeak Server (Test Phase)
We are testing a TeamSpeak server to provide a dedicated voice communication platform for our players. You can connect via ts.ifheroes.de. However, if we face infrastructure challenges or low usage, we may reconsider its long-term availability.

Coming in Q2 2025

• Long-Awaited Spawn Update: After much anticipation, we are finally planning to release the Spawn Update this quarter.
• Skill Level System for Survival: Originally planned for Q1, the new skill progression system for Survival will now be launching in Q2.
• Daily Rewards System: Players will be able to log in daily to claim rewards and bonuses.
• Website Rebranding & Content Management Overhaul: We are working on a complete overhaul of the Infinity Heroes website, consolidating all blog posts and updates under one platform. Future blog posts will no longer be published on Medium or other third-party platforms.
• Server System Updates & Optimization: We are actively working on reducing administrative overhead and streamlining our internal and external systems.
• API Changes: The current News API is being phased out, and its future remains uncertain.

A Sneak Peek at Q3 2025

Looking ahead, we plan to integrate Minecraft 1.21.5 once all necessary tests are completed. Additionally, the next Farmworld reset is tentatively scheduled for Q3 but may be brought forward to late Q2. As part of our new system, Farmworld resets will now occur on a quarterly basis.
